Freddy Buttons and Glenisk – the perfect pairing

This week I am excited and delighted to be teaming up with Glenisk to launch a very cool Freddy Buttons competition which is open to every primary school child in the country.  You know how passionate I am about spreading the old food provenance message, so who better to help me out with this than Glenisk.

We have put our heads together and come up with a Freddy Buttons bookmark competition that should appeal to children of all ages.  The prizes are great and there is a cool certificate and yogurt vouchers for EVERY child who enters the competition – so everyone’s a winner!

For full competition details visit http://www.glenisk.com/freddybuttons or email freddybuttons@glenisk.com (yes, Freddy has his own email address already!).

The cool new badge to the right of my website will also bring you directly to the competition details, so if you want to get your children thinking about the origins of eggs, honey, milk, strawberries and more, click on the badge and take it from there.

My fantabulous illustrator, Derry Dillon, and myself are two of the judges and we can’t wait to see all the works of art from children around the country.  Then we hope to meet the winners at Bloom 2015 (more about that later).

I’ll be back very soon with another afternoon tea review and some tips on getting started in the garden.

If you’re looking for me, I’ll be at the kitchen table writing – and writing some more…..
