In the past week, I have visited two of the winning schools with Emma from Old McDonalds Farm Store to deliver the eagerly awaited chickens.
I haven’t had SO much fun in a long time.
One of the schools we visited was in Bagenalstown, Co Carlow and KCLR96fm were on hand to record the proceedings. Listen to this – I promise it will do your heart good…..
Aren’t those children just a tonic? (The photos I used to accompany this piece were mostly taken here in the garden over the past year or so).
There are still more schools to visit after the Halloween break and I just can’t wait!
