The day after my book launch I decided to create a new website. Yes, I know, not even a lie-in!
Hunterslodgeliving had definitely gone very well for me since I created it in May 2010 (the words “book launch” being a good indicator), but I felt that it was time for a change – and so http://www.fionadillon.com was born.
I like to think this blog has a more “homely” feel to it – and it will certainly be as down to earth as my last blog, but just a bit more personal. I’ll be sharing lots more recipes from my kitchen as well as crafty tips to reuse and recycle, and of course there will be the ramblings in the garden with the chickens, ducks, geese, bees and more….
From rearing pigs to making butter, you’ll get the lowdown here.
New for 2014 will be my YouTube “How To” videos – so watch this space…
I now have a SUBSCRIBE TO button for my readers if you would like to follow my escapades at Hunters Lodge. Do you see it over there on the right hand side of the screen? Fill in your name and email address and you’ll be notified when I update my blog. Now don’t worry, you won’t be getting mail from me every day – I’d never get anything done here if that were the case!
To help you get started with growing your own food in 2014, I’ll be giving away a couple of copies of “Food from an Irish Garden” at the end of January to some of my readers.
Once you have subscribed to this site, you’re in the draw.
I look forward to welcoming you on board…
“Food from an Irish Garden” is now available in book stores nationwide. If you would like to book Fiona for a talk/demonstration email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 085 1057314.
